Cut paper collages

A new series of paper cut collages - an experiment in abstraction and an exploration of colour. The process is meditative. Starting with painting sheets of paper in different hues and then cutting shapes to be positioned immediately on this painted backdrop or put aside to be used later in another formation. It sometimes had the feeling of blowing a dandelion, watching the spores land - that kind of careless grace, as the pieces took shape
